So, it is no surprise to anyone who knows me knows that A Christmas Story is my all time, most favorite movie in the whole entire world. I can recite almost every line. It is such a classic.
I heard an interview with Ralphie as an adult and he was talking about how the theme of the movie is a lot about Ralphie wanting to be accepted by his father. I was thinking how that isn’t a lot different for most of us. We want to be loved and accepted for who we are.
When I as younger I asked God for forgiveness repeatedly for everything that I did. My idea of God was more of him being angry with me or upset or frowning down upon me. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realize that God isn’t mad with me at all. I think and do things that he isn’t always pleased about, but He loves me just the way I am because He created me! How is that for a pretty awesome Christmas Story?
What is the best Christmas Movie?
